“Hi.”

No response.

Filet blinked at the dragon sitting next to him owlishly. The dragon, he supposed, was a little dim; they didn’t seem to respond to him, not even when they were the only ones here.

“Hiiii.” he dragged out the word. “Hello.”

Now, the dragon responded. Albeit, not in a very nice way; they didn’t look at him at all, rather glancing around as if looking for someone, brows furrowing when they couldn’t find who they were looking for.

So weird.

“Hey,” Filet pouted, reaching out a finger. “I’m talking to-”

His finger went through the dragon. Filet gasped; that was so cool! He looked up to the dragon, and started to ask how they managed to make their body in- uh- trans-something (that was the word, right?)

But then the dragon looked surprised and horrified at the same time, and Filet was wondering what that was about when the dragon opened their mouth.

“You can see me?”
