Debtor #34: Give me a week, and I'll give you the funds.
Cassander: You said that last week.
Debtor #34: Beginning to see a pattern here? I don't have the funds.
Cassander: ...

~3 days later...~

Henchmen: Boss there's a dragon standing outside our gate.
Debtor #34: What does he look like.
Henchmen: Gold and red, wearing bloodstone jewels.
Debtor #34: ...don't let him in.
*Suddenly, there's the sound of pounding on the wall. Then, the wall breaks open as Cassander tears a hole through the blockade, brick by brick with the grasps on his wings.*
Debtor #34: wHAT THE-
Cassander: Your debt is due, sonny boy.

Let me tell you a short story. One day, Amun realized that we got scammed. Amun didn't like getting scammed, so he brought his good old friend Cassander to make sure that we didn't get scammed. The end.

Ok. Now, for the more detailed version.

As a child, Cassander was a mage prodigy who trained to hopefully become enlisted in the Lightweaver's ranks. However, after being wrongfully accused by a jealous peer, the skydancer was ostracised from the Lightweavers ranks. Spending his days wandering Hewn City, Cassander worked in underground jobs as a hired man, specializing in debt collecting and the dealing of illegal goods, which his stong magical proficiency helped greatly in. 3 years into his career, he met Amun, and after their perilous escape from their gang, the two survived together for a brief period before parting ways.

Until, of course, Amun decided that we didn't want to get scammed anymore.

In Goldenstorm, Cassander serves as the middle man for all transactions, both between clan members and outside clans. He tries his best not to exert his spells on those who don't cooperate, but when he does, he does so in a manner that ensures that the payment is complete. Silent and brooding, the skydancer never forgets, and he'll make sure you won't want to. Pay your due, and he'll go readily on his ways.

This also goes both ways. If he harms someone, he will make sure to repay them. Underground work can teach you a thing or two about compassion.

Cassander: Thank you for your cooperation. Now, where's your mortar?
Debtor #34: ...excuse me?
Cassander: I'm repairing your wall. You can thank me later.

On the rare occasion that he isn't doing his job, he can be seen chilling with Amun near the vault or playing card games with fellow clanmates. He loves playing Uno, but only with 7s and 0s. Also, did I mention that he has four arms? That's a lot of cards he can hold in his hands. That's also a lot of cards for you to hold once he's decided that the scummining has arrived.

Azar: Draw 4.
Nightwing: Stacking on that. Amun, draw 8.
Amun: Fat chance. Cassander. Draw 12.
*Cassander cackles.*

Another tip? Don't play monopoly with this guy. We had an infamous game with Amun, Status, Cassander, and Athena, and the game was a living hell for everyone else.

Umbra: Cassander, you're the only one here who's got cash man. I'll give you all my properties, just get me out of debt.
Cassander: I can't get you out of debt, but you know what I can get you out of?
Umbra: What?
Cassander: The game.
