Spiff

Spiff is one of the Cirocco residents that's more...eldritch, in nature.

No one is quite sure where he came from. It's not even known if he was born, or the result of some freak experiment involving the corpses of other dragons.

But unlike some of the other monstrous creatures that inhabit Cirocco territory, this amalgamation of a dragon is as harmless as they come. Happy to only come out to do his job at night, Spiff prides himself on keeping Calpernum's streets sparkling clean.

While he doesn't mind sparing the sensitive feelings of Calpernum's high society, he wishes that people wouldn't judge him based on looks. He's quite lonely, if he's being honest with himself.

Spiff doesn't have many friends due to his nature as a hobbled-together being, but he finds himself staring longingly into the windows of the planetarium at the beautiful pearlcatcher within.

It's so rude to ogle, so he never does it for very long, but...
It's nice to imagine being friends with someone else who doesn't quite fit in.

However...recently there's been a change.
The beautiful, talented, Opera singer that holds house not far from Spiff's sewers keeps coming up to the pipe and talking to him. Spiff doesn't know what Eridanos is doing spending time with him when he surely has tons of friends to catch up with, but he appreciates the company.
The streets outside the Opera House are always spotless.

More recently, Krobus --the Shade Dragon-- has taken up residence in the sewers as well, and serves as a shopkeep, neighbor, and friend to Spiff. Both Spiff and Krobus are somewhat awkward in conversation, but perhaps they don't even notice.

They're just happy to not be alone.
