Dustaad would usually describe himself as 'ordinary' and 'curious', but both are quite far from truth. For a Fae, he leads a bizarre life. Self-taught of how to survive, he is a brilliant pathfinder, artificer and even hunter - as no one said he must end his prey by himself - that is easily done with traps, even if the prey is fifty times bigger than him. Dustaad never fet small - or at least didn't consider this a disadvantage, and this attitude helps him out a lot.
Maybe because of this very attitude, but he got fascinated with creatures way bigger, but intelligent and judicious - centaurs, and succeded in making contact with them, getting valuable information and insight. He is mainly interested in their culture, language and how their society works - and as some centaurs were always tolerant to dragons, his job is not that troublesome. He is often allowed to stay in the herd for some time to observe - could be because of his size, to be honest - and Dustaad would use this possibility to draw and record everything he sees - clothing, poems, family structures, hierarchy, even foals' riddles and rude slurs - everything is of value for him. He is quite happy with what he does, and his researches are actually useful as they help to establish positive contacts with Beastclans both in trading and pure strategic partnership.
