SAFEKEEPER

Unit 1 Commander and keeper of The Reaching Light; she/her

fiercely protective of her subjects, safekeeper has honed her curse to protect those around her. once blighted to be the anchor of a vortex of collapsing space, she has learned to control and reverse this to create the reaching light, a floating archipelago off the coast of the shifting expanse. she stays in her chambers, as even the slightest movement by her could cause the archipelago to collapse, fall into the sea, or worse. her armor keeps her both controlled, calm, and still, with her entourage caring for her and keeping her updated on happenings on the outside world.

  • Her Crazed Powermith, Queen, is her personal caretaker. It often goes around the Reaching Light to escort dragons to Safekeeper's chambers at her request.
  • While most of the Units have distinct responsibilities as a group in the Reaching Light, Unit 1 acts as a force whose responsibility is Safekeeper.
  • Safekeeper's forcefield is an "anti-curse" reagent, that can slow, reverse, or ease the effects of curses on dragons, to varying results.
