Biography
Calculus
Senior - Arcane Elemental Fighter
Intelligent - Psychotic- Overly Happy
History
Calculus began life in the Arcane flight. In fact, he was bred to look like the very likeness of the Arcanist himself. For about 5 minutes, he was the perfect hatchling. He was the perfect coloration and the perfect size and appeared to have the perfect markings. Everything was ideal until his parents found out that Calculus couldn't do magic. In fact, any spells or incantations seemed to immediately go wrong when Calculus was around. Calculus was deemed a dud and labeled a failure.
In Lightning, the worst possible fate is to be shipped off to the Arcanist to serve him. In Arcane, something similar is true. So, Calculus was sentenced to be shipped off to a Lightning clan to be trained to the service of Bossman. This was, of course, before he got the name of a complex mathematical system. This was the only time in his life that Calculus was ever deeply unhappy. He refused to eat, he refused to sleep, his feathers began to fall off.
Then he got here. There are certain things one can say about Lightning. You can say they're brusque, intolerant of failure, and their noses are often too pointy. However, a Lightning clan will never turn down a good worker. And Lightning isn't known for shunning those who can't do magic (in fact, in many cases this is viewed as a huge point in that dragon's favor). Aside from his lack of magic, Calculus was intelligent, cheery, and always worked quickly. In short he was what we call, "efficient". Naturally, bossman would have loved him, but no Lightning clan in their right mind would give up such a worker. So Lanya took him under her wing and trained him as a fighter. He didn't have a talent for violence like some of the others, but he was strong enough. His fighting style was meticulous and as it turns out, it came in handy to have an Arcane dragon on the field.
Currently He is...
Calculus has found his place in the clan. In fact, he's recently even been able to work spells. As it turns out, he just needed minor counterbalance for his energy. He was given an orb when he completed his training and this has worked perfectly as a counterbalance. He's been granted a mate, on the condition that she needs to be trained by him.
