Biography

To celebrate both their first clutch of eggs and the BrightShine Jubilee, Alexandros and Fiorina decided to visit the Sunbeam Ruins to gather supplies, enjoy the scenery, and meet up with old friends from the land. On one of their scavenging trips along the coast, they came across an odd sight: a lone Light dragon egg floating in the ocean below. Fearing for it, they immediately rescued it and were amazed to find it was not only still healthy, but close to hatching as well. They knew they had to get it back to its parents fast.

Frantically searching the area, they were unable to find them. Every Light dragon they met shook their heads and wished them luck in the search.

And then they found it.

A cave in the cliffside with a nest that had been smashed to bits. Among the wreckage were the remains of two Light dragon eggs that were, tragically, also destroyed. There was no sign of the owners of the nest, and the cave looked like it had been abandoned some time before. But one thing was clear though: the egg Alexandros and Fiorina had found came from this nest. Somehow, it had escaped a grim fate by falling into the sea. Did it roll in during the destruction? Did the parents hide it in the waves out of desperation? Either way, there was really no more hope. The parents were long gone, possibly dead and while the egg was still healthy, it needed to be nested quickly or that would no longer be the case. Alexandros and Fiorina made a decision: to take it back to their own.

They had no idea what would hatch from the egg other than "a Light dragon," but they vowed to take care of it and treat it as their own hatchling. It hatched shortly, yielding a male white and pink Tundra dragon with the beautiful pale golden eyes Light dragons are known for.

He was perfect. They loved him instantly. They named him Piddo and proudly call him their first son.

Piddo is quite aware of the differences between himself and his adopted parents, but he simply does not care. He has no desire to find his birth parents and is happy where he is. Although he's a Light dragon, he believes the Tidelord saved him that fateful day, and as such, he is most happy in the Water flight with the Hydrus Clan. He considers himself the big brother to all of Alexandros and Fiorina's offspring. A bit vain, Piddo loves his luxurious coat of fur and his striking pink mane and attends to his appearance several times a day.

It seems his time spent in the ocean, his home in the Sea of a Thousand Currents, and his dedication to the Tidelord has given him some divination abilities usually associated with the Water dragons. Piddo is able to read the way light falls on an object and interpret them.
