Biography
Lost.
Forgotten.
These are the only two words that ring within Lancaster's head as he wakes, blinking rapidly against the bright light that greets him.
Lost.
Forgotten.
Who was lost? What had been forgotten? He raises himself up on unstable claws, stumbling slightly, trying to keep himself upright. It takes a few uncertain seconds, but he manages to stand.
Lost.
Forgotten.
Where was he? He can't tell. Nothing about this land seems familiar, except for the bright shine of sunlight against his scales. He breaths out, exhaling a gust of blue smoke with it. It's cold to the touch, a great contrast to the warmth around him.
Lost.
Forgotten.
Raising his eyes to the sky, Lancaster feels the need to cry out to someone. Yet their name escapes him. He closes his mouth, mind reeling at all the unanswered questions that lie within him.
Lost.
Forgotten.
He can't stay here. He isn't sure why, but he knows he must go. He begins to walk forward, but he only makes it a few feet before he's forced to a halt, his vision going blurry as a splitting pain shoots through his head.
Lost!
Forgotten!
He remembers another dragon. He does not know their name. They are nothing more than a face, yet somehow, he knows he needs to find them.
Lost.
Forgotten.
Those words, an echoing call into the dark depths of his mind, finally cease. He crumples to the ground, exhaustion suddenly overwhelming his tiny frame.
Just as his vision begins to seep into black, he can see a figure approaching him...
