Biography
Amaranthus, collectively known as amaranth, is a cosmopolitan genus of annual or short-lived perennial plants. Catkin-like cymes of densely packed flowers grow in summer or autumn. "Amaranth" derives from Greek ἀμάραντος (amarantos), "unfading," with the Greek word for "flower," ἄνθος (anthos), factoring into the word's development as "amaranth."
He prides himself on his appearance and loves to accessorize. His favorite accessories are his pink cabbie, flowers, and the bones of his enemies. He hates to get dirty and keeps himself neat, even while hunting. Loves flowers, but doesn't really understand them. He leaves some of his fallen prey in his "garden" because he's heard dead things are good for flowers. His favorite flowers are buttercups, because they're small and cute, grow easily without tending, and are poisonous. He refuses to be looked down upon, though he likes being doted on my his mother Peony. He considers his greatest goal to be both adorable and terrifying to all that know him.
