firstborn to the former queen of clan morrigan, cheraime was its final princess before its dissolution. raised in the lap of luxury, she was a bit of a bratty hatchling, not yet understanding her place in society nor the purpose of the pageantry that surrounded her. she was permitted few friends, and found the greatest comfort in the companionship of her quiet sworn knight, auravis.

as she grew into her role as princess and heir to the throne, the queen became gravely ill, bedridden and requiring full-time care. cheraime had no choice but to ascend the throne in the queen's abscence. amid the newfound responsibility, she discovered all that her mother had sheltered her from; crumbling clan ties, dwindling resources, and an all-around displeased population.

her mother ailing, her clan falling apart, and food stores running low, it was she who lead the stragglers from arcane to light, hoping to bring her clan, alongside auravis, to prosperity in the warmer climes of the sunbeam ruins. here, in the rubble of civilizations past, they could rebuild.

their home is made now in the aurealon vale. its people live in simple harmony, each doing what they can to help each other, cherishing each day that passes together. food is plentiful. a motley of dragons in all shapes and sizes from old morrigan and far beyond call this new place home.

while no longer queen, cheraime was still a leader once, and is often called to settle any small disputes that may arise amongst the rest of the clan. her eyes have seen many things wax and wane, and her wisdom provides guidance to all. with a loyalty hard-earned, but steadfast, those who know her well find her trust invaluable.

she now considers herself retired, and spends most of her time reading or painting. she has a particular fondness for sweets, and regularly finds herself taking tea with auravis under the soft glow of lantern light.
