Personality
Royal is quiet, occasionally coming off as cold. They don't mean to, they just usually don't know what to do in a normal conversation. Despite being outwardly distant, most of the clan trusts them due to how they have worked tirelessly to prevent catastrophe in the shadows.
Those who are their friends see an entirely different side of them than the cold, stoic and calculating dragon most of the clan knows. A gentle, bubbly soul who enjoys mapping and planning for the best of their clan. Their den has many maps of the clan's camp with scribbled notes of exits and dens. They're usually doing this while with their friends. They're prone to rambling and often fiddle with their talons or sway gently. They become especially happy around the Ashios Union's Leader.
History
When Royal was barely a teen, they ran away from their birth clan. They don't like talking about their past clan since it is a very painful memory.
They were accused of a crime that would get them killed in the clan. They barely escaped with their life, losing everything to the mob that they once called their clan. When they ran away, it took them nearly an entire day to realize that they had gone all the way from the Snowsquall Tundra to somewhere near the Sunportal before they collapsed. When they awoke, an odd spiral was poking at their snout.
"Ah! thought you'd died or something... You look like you did, anyways," With a bit of help, they pulled themself to their feet and asked who the swirl-eyed spiral was.
This dragon was a clan healer named Constellen, and was the one who lead them to the Ashios Union, a new home for the wanted-dead exile. After a few months they managed to settle in and earn trust within the clan, but something always kept them from trusting Constellen fully that they couldn't put their claw on.
Something like a gut feeling that things were very, very wrong. Then again, he could just be paranoid! Who knows.
