- the Messenger -
Gabriel was amongst the first of the Second to come into creation, alongside Cael. Being as their creations were so close to the other, the pair bonded closely, much as the First and Ba'al had. Gabriel found the other's soft-spoken demeanor endearing, and fought to protect them from the whispers of their siblings once they realized that Cael was not like the rest of them.
Despite taking the form of a female, Cael was uncomfortable in the position that it brought, instead retreating to their gardens to decide for themselves what they wanted. Gabriel let them be- content to leave them to their own activities whilst occasionally bringing them small gifts from the earthly realm below.
Following the war in the heavens, the First destroying their Father and assuming the role of Goddess, peace fell amid the angels. Unspoken rules and laws fell lax around them- in part due to the roles of their elder siblings and their sacrifices. It meant that they were no longer expected to follow the rigid roles of their old ways, making way for the new.
