As a young dragon, Rosanna was drawn to the Starfall Isles and the arcane. She found she had a knack for spellcasting, and learned quickly. However, a freak accident with a spell gone wrong caused her to lose all sight in her eyes. Shortly after, however, she noticed she could see once again... although, it wasn't from her head. She now possesses five sets of eyes -- four on her front legs, four on her back legs, and two on the tips of her wing joints. It took her quite a while to adjust to seeing in six different directions at once, but she is now able to get around just as well as any normal dragon. She normally keeps all but the eyes on her wings closed, which eliminates most of the confusion.

Many of the Sable dragons find her very off-putting, but her mate, Grunner, thinks she's beautiful, and that is all that matters to her. She sometimes acts as a sentry when the beasts of the forest become a bit too aggressive. Being able to look around without moving has it's advantages.
