He has a knack for hunting

ThingChildIII never enjoyed staying still. All his life, he's yearned only to explore, and see more of the world. It's for that reason that he's been hunting since a very young age, and he's always been good at it. Nothing gives him more joy than to sneak around in the forest, looking for all the strange and wonderful creatures that inhabit it. As good as he is at hunting, however, he doesn't enjoy hurting others, be them dragons, creatures, or some other being, he'd rather hunt information about them, following them to learn a whole host of things about their lives, than hurt them. As a result, he's very well versed in most animal studies, and has filled many journals with notes he's taken.

One day, while he was walking through the Scarred Wasteland, he was met by a few dragons who invited him to their clan. ThingChildIII accepted, enjoying the prospect of a clan of his own, and after being told he could watch the clan's familiars to his heart's content, and have free reign to continue his exploration whenever he pleased. During his explorations, ThingChildIII actually does a majority of the foraging for the clan, picking the best plants for himself and his clanmates to eat.

As happy as he is here, ThingChildIII still enjoys returning to his Thing family every once in a while to play games and tell about all he's learned!

ThingChildIII couldn't hide his grin as he finished the newest entry in his journal. While the White-Eared Hummingbird is quite common around my home in the Abiding Boneyard, there is nowhere near enough in depth research on the creatures' habits. I fully intend to spend the majority of my upcoming research time observing the local specimens in as unmodified a manner as possible, in an attempt to fully grasp the structure of their flocks.

Just as ThingChildIII finished up his writing, he realized he was supposed to be gathering food for his clan. He rushed to fill his basket with various delicious plants before the sun went down. He didTBC
