Uh-oh, looks like this Tundra wandered a little too far from their home lair (452562, Hyzenthlaay), and now they’re off to see the world! If ever you feel the need to exalt them, we'd really appreciate it if you instead could just return them to their original home via the Crossroads, send them off in the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread (warning, you will get another traveler in return if you do this), or if you don’t want another traveler in return, this rest hub. You can also adopt them permanently if you don’t want them leaving your lair - just contact Hyzenthlaay and let her know (it’s good for her notes)!

SweetGem Gentle Baker SweetGem's introductory baking classes are a favorite of the hatchlings under her care, who enjoy the opportunity to play with the big fiery stoves and soft yeast that their parents would much prefer them to stay out and away from. Parents are often surprised by what SweetGem can edge their notoriously energetic hatchling into making: sweet potato pies, apple crumb pastries, and other sweet treats entice their minds long enough for SweetGem to teach them the fine art of baking. SweetGem herself took up baking when she was a hatchling, around the same time that she had come out as transgender - maybe it was the process of seeing food transform from one thing into another under her claws that enticed her; or, less poetically, maybe she simply needed a distraction from the living hell that her family had made her public transition. Still, the past is the past - now SweetGem only looks to the future, waiting patiently for the oven to deliver her next batch of goodies. Hatchlings love their teacher, and SweetGem loves them back, hoping to have a few of her own someday. |

What is The Herd?
The Herd, much like the parasite thread, tracks lineage. Specifically, the lineage of the eleven starting dragons. One from each flight.
If you wish to participate, simply breed this dragon with another, then copy this into the bio of the first nest of hatchlings. Only the first nest will be counted.
Unlike the parasite thread, it is not required that you Exalt the parent dragon, only that you erase this message from their bio after posting the hatch in this thread here.
If you do not wish to participate, then you can post the dragon in the thread for another person, or simply do what you were going to do originally.
