Description:
Surprising strong and intimidating for a tundra, Honeoye came to Florabrisa in its early days to work as security for the young, growing lair. Dutiful and formidable in battle, Honey could intimidate even the biggest Guardians. Now middle-aged, Honey doesn't work as a guard as often these days, with younger, bigger, and stronger dragons filling in her place, but her own strength and cleverness shouldn't be discounted and she still likes to help where she can.

Not long after her starting work in Florabrisa, she hit things off well with the local farmer Foley and the two have been inseparable for the past couple decades. When Foley's nephew Tildr arrived in Florabrisa as a teenager in need of guidance, Honey and Foley took him in and raised him together with no hesitation.

Honeoye is the entire clan's cool older aunt. Hatchlings beg to be babysat by her to parents who rarely agree, because the Tundra's idea of watching children falls around "watching them eat too much ice cream because they have to learn somehow." She's very lax towards the younger dragons of the clan, encouraging them to have adventures, make mistakes - but most importantly - to learn. However, Honeoye is anything but a pushover; she tolerates zero disrespect, rudeness, or cruelty. Absolutely unafraid of making a scene, she will loudly chastise the adolescent who tried to swipe an apple from a marketplace vendor, before making them give it back and apologize. For this reason, some hatchlings who once loved her grow to resent Honeoye in their 'troubled teen' years, but most come to appreciate her later for steering them back on the right path.

Equipped with a mischievous sense of humor, this tough lady loves making inappropriate jokes at perfectly inopportune times, loving the pained and mirthful look of "I can't believe you just said that." from her victims as they do their best to choke back their laughter. Usually, though, she's quiet and observant - which of course makes her sudden quips all the more effective. She's well-liked by her clan, and Honeoye loves most of them, but she is and always will be an introvert at heart. That being said, Honeoye functions perfectly fine in social events - though she may be more quiet than most - and does enjoy interacting with her clanmates. She'd simply rather be training, or reading in her den, snuggling her girlfriend instead.

Honeoye has served as one of the clan's guards since she was a young adult. It's a post she refuses to abandon even as she's getting up in her years and her eyes have begun to dull.

Favorites:
As a guard, Honey's routine would involve patrolling around Florabrisa and keeping an eye on entrances. With Florabrisa's relaxed atmosphere though, the clan's leaders discouraged her from keeping too close an eye on things so as to not scare off potential community members. She never minded the extra time off, but she's loyal and still does her best to be nearby in the event she's needed to deescalate a situation or break up a scene.

Less active as a guard now, she likes to help her partner Foley around the farm, particularly with carrying heavy produce. Sometimes she feels like a pack mule, but it's nice to get to work closely with her partner and she could never complain about seeing too much of Foley's smiling face.

Appearance:
Honey is a large, middle-aged tundra. She's fat and a little bit muscular, and has medium-small wings. She has a shaggy fur, a long mane and beard, droopy ears, and large, jagged horns. She often wears a dull expression and has a slight overbite with small protruding fangs.

Honey likes to look powerful and often dons spiky armor to show she isn't messing around. She enjoys skulls and piercings as well, for even more intimidation factor. Her eyesight has gotten worse over the years and she now wears glasses, but she thinks that suits her just fine.
