B I O G R A P H Y

Journey lets a deep sigh escape just as he begins to tell you about his time here in Aerewyn's Clan, before he is distracted by an approaching Gaoler. Journey not one to mince words but is taken aback by the stranger. "Sorry for the interruption folks I will be right back."

Journey meets up with the stranger now standing in his midst. My name is Micah, sir, perhaps you know of a Gaoler here in your clan called Storm? Journey just stands there taken aback by the name he hasn't been called in a very long time. He hasn't even told his mate Effie about this, ever. He has harbored this dark secret for at least 3 years, maybe longer. Thinking what to say or do is eluding him and it is more like a stammer that comes out and a very soft one at that. My name is Journey he tells Micah. Who now is beginning to think this was a fools errand. Getting enough courage summoned ... the name is Journey but was Storm many moons ago. Journey wanted to know how he knew of that name and what was he doing here using it. Micah explained that his mate Snow thought she had seen her brother Storm several times now, when you come down to the waters edge and well she can see you. "Micah, Journey begins, I see her too, that is why I come down to the banks at night, so I can see her. It is so difficult knowing that I cannot go to her and tell her who I am, she watched me die." At that Journey turns and walks away, leaving Micah with no answers for his mate.

"What was that all about? Who was that strange Gaoler?" Effie is full of questions and Journey would prefer not to answer them, right at the moment. His mate is just staring at him, waiting on an answer she might not get at the moment. Problem is he isn't paying attention. The stranger seems to have upset him somehow and Effie being Effie, well she tries to get her mate's attention. Journey appears to be a little annoyed about the whole thing.

"Well?" Effie asking more pointedly.

"Wha....what is it Effie? Shaking his head ever slightly Journey begins looking around for Effie. She gently reminds him of his seminar and the students that are waiting for his famous lecture - Adapting to life on the Windswept Plateau. It is more an Orientation lecture, for incoming students attending Aerewyn University.

Journey wasn't born in the plateau, but in the domain of the Tidelord one of four siblings, only one female, his sister Snow. Journey is water aligned who feels so out of place here in the plateau. Just as well, but he is not an ice aligned Gaoler either, so many either don't know or conveniently forget. Gaolers are just like any dragon in Sornieth they are the element of where they were hatched, nothing more. Journey looks deep out into the setting sun and focuses on the blazing yellows and deep orange coming together in the distance. "A beautiful sight to see, don't you think Effie?" She begins to answer him but is cut short.
The moon coming up tonight is the largest they have ever seen, some refer to it as the Pink Moon. Journey scoffs at naming full moons. This one coming up tonight is no different, if anything it is one he is the most outspoken about. For whatever reason desigination for a full moon - Who names the different full moons anyway? It is no secret Journey finds quite a few things foolish, this just being the one he is most annoyed by. As the moon begins coming up over the bay ... where moments ago you think you saw the setting sun. Truth be told, anytime Effie sits with him on the banks of the bay it seems like it was just a moment and not hours. He will sit there and not say a word for hours. She lets him talk in his own time, trying to force conversation with him before he is ready is a fool's errand. She chuckles to herself when she thinks about the silly saying no matter how true where Journey is concerned.

B I O G R A P H Y

Journey's mate Effie greets the day and finds her mate staring off into space it would seem. He never answered her questions about the Gaoler that appeared out of seemingly nowhere. He could not get that off his mind. He knows he must tell Effie who it was that upset him so. He thinks back to the day he died. Or so it would seem. Snow was the only sibling he had left. He wasn't wanting to leave her and yet somehow he knew it would be soon. He would never see is mother or Snow again, just like their two brothers who were banished from their den by their father, Warlock.

Snow had always been the brash warrior of the siblings, but he had been the conniver. He could outsmart Hail, outthink Ice, and usually outwit Snow, although he couldn’t beat her in a fair fight. He’d always relied on his wits to get what he wanted or win the duel. Now he began to wonder if that was enough.
