Zafi
The Familiar Wisperer

Personality:kind and patient Zafi cares for all beasts and dragons alike. Her voice is soft and calms all who hear her speak. Zafi's home belongs more to her numerous familiars than to herself. She works tirelessly to help every familiar find the perfect dragon for them. She'll often come into classrooms to teach young dragons how to properly care for their familiars. When she is not working with familiars she's traveling to the closest clan of centaurs visiting old friends and deepening their connections with the dragon clan she resided in. Backstory: When Zafi was young she did not have many friends. instead of socializing with the other dragons her age, she would seek out their familiars and spend time with them. She would spend hours in the forest running around with the wild animals. At some point during these adventures, she came across a clan of centaurs. She was still a child who posed no threat to the beast clan, and Zafi was blissfully unaware of the tension between the clans. The centaurs were very close with the forest animals just as Zafi was and so they became friends. Zafi was soon spending more time with the centaurs than the dragons at her home. She became well known with the beast clans making connections with harpies and Maren alike as they made their way through the land. When it was finally revealed to her family where Zafi ran off to all day they were furious. Unknown to her Zafi's clan had been at war with the centaurs since they settled on the land. They demanded that Zafi lead them to their base so they could end the war once in for all. In a panic, Zafi ran away from her home in order to save her friends. She ran to the centaur clan for help. Although she wanted to live with them they knew she would be better off with other dragons. They sent her in the direction of a clan they knew would take care of her as they had made peaceful contact with the ruler Zalitz on multiple occasions. Zafi now lives in the clan working with familiars, dragons, and beastman alike trying to form a deeper connection between the groups. |
