As the second half of the relic hunting pair, this dragon can often be found pouring over notes and tools to poke and prod at any mildly-dangerous magical artifact they uncover in their constant work. Where Merlin is much more focused on the 'where', Nimue never stops questioning the 'why's, which has led to a few...less than favorable results, but that's all in the process!

A scholar from a clan close to the Sunportal, Nimue grew hearing stories of far-off lands, long-forgotten structures, and what always seemed to catch her ears, artifacts. Keys to portals nobody has been able to re-activate, statues with a magical energy nobody has been able to pinpoint, odd orbs with insides that swirl and stare back at you...

It was no surprise when she left to travel on her own, in hunt of the many odd sightings she had heard about throughout her life. Which is when on a long trip to investigate a stone disk on the outskirts of Hewn City, the only surprise she ran into was the presence of a worn-out Imperial by the name of Merlin, also on the hunt for the same stone carving she held in her claws. After five minutes of arguing, the haunted atmosphere of the area seemed to seep into them too much to ignore. Listening to the engravings upon the wall, Nimue and Merlin both reluctantly agreed to follow their directions, and to do it together.

Their investigation led them to a supposedly abandoned ruin in the depths of the Tangled Wood, only to find it was less empty than they thought...
