Dhuval is a nomadic wanderer, who never joins a side, but only follows the voices of the wind and his own judgement. He speaks many different languages, and acts as a translator for the clan, and he gained a lot of knowledge about different cults, rituals, creatures, politics, and forms of life during his journeys, and made many allies in foreign lands. Nobody knows about the bond he has tied with the Hidden Sanctum and the debts he pays, making him always return, no matter where his journeys lead him; but it must be a strong, unbreakable bond - solid enough to not be disrupted by the wind and his better judgement.
