Pol

Pol is a recent recruit to the Sceleri. He was found by Hiriko after having been left for dead by the Rikorak after a battle in Hulum. Hiriko spirited him back to the Siupas territory and slowly nursed him back to health in a burrow hidden outside of the Sceleri camp. When Pol was strong enough, Hiriko brought him in, introducing him to Illiya as a new recruit and an intelligence source. Illiya accepted him.

Despite his formidable appearance, Pol is weak. He suffered severe burns to his face, torso, and legs, leaving him mostly unable to fight. This is fine by him, however, as he much prefers nonviolence. Pol works under Hiriko as a Healer apprentice, specializing in treating battlefield wounds sustained through Rikorak attack methods.

Pol is solitary, taking to nobody other than Hiriko and Stayer. Though Stayer suspects (not entirely incorrectly) that Pol has a crush on Hiriko, they both know that he would never do anything to potentially anger Illiya or risk being thrown out of the Sceleri.
