A generally kind and caring individual, Koibito is known to put others before himself, especially when it comes to the hatchlings and younger dragons of the clan. He can usually be seen within the nursery, tending to the eggs in the nest, providing them with nurturing care along with the parents, and coaxing the eggs to hatch, even his own.

When not in the hatchery, he can be seen within the deep dark forests of the Tangled Wood, looking for fireflies with his lover and life mate, Lin.

Prior to joining the Umbrus Nocturna, Koibito was a young hatchling whom War had rescued from a crumbling cave. When asked why he was there, the tiny coatl replied that his clan believed it to be safe for him away from the beasts, and that they would be back. Learning that it had been quite a number of days, War had known what had happened to the clan, and took the coatl in as one of his own children.

Even though things have changed, Koibito is still as vibrant and fun-loving as ever. He especially loves taking care of the young hatchlings in the Umbrus Nocturna, until they are ready to either venture off into new clans, or pledge their eternal service to the Shadowbinder herself.

Koibito dedicates his life to serving War for the kindness that the Guardian, now Nocturne had given him, wishing to repay in full. If asked to perform a task, he doesn't even hesitate to spring into action. Unfortunately for others in the clan, he's not quite as loyal to them as to do that.
