inspiration for lore drawn from Othello's monologue in Scene 3, Act 1 of Othello by Shakespeare, the one where he describes his experiences.

he's traveled through the wastelands and survived. he's encountered many, friend and foe. he's fought and lost, and won, and scarred, and he's survived. animals flock to him, and he lets them stay and follow him. he crosses deserts and mountains, along rivers and cliffs, over fields of mud and burned husks of trees; he's seen it all.

he's not the same man he was before, before the war happened and the plague wiped through the survivors. he's changed, been forced to change and become a stranger, hardened through endless battles and dreary quests to survive.

but he's survived, and that's what matters.

othello is just..beautiful. his mostly brown colors with the slightest bit of blue peeking out from under the apparel make for a really gorgeous color scheme, and i love the layering of the nightshroud with the flame cloak! i also love how well his lore and apparel match
