Local legends in the Eastcliff towns speak of two ancient beasts; blood-thirsty monsters who roamed the Lightweaver's domain, territorial brutes that were lost to time.
That was what they first believed.

Since the return of ancient dragons, there have been increased amounts of sightings close to the outskirts of Eastcliff. Even more unusual, offspring of the beasts, their true flesh and blood, have emerged. Some are stolen from their roosts and sold by sleazy merchants and corrupt authorities, marketed to guard livestock, places and even dragons. Of course, feral beasts aren't always the most reliable things in the world.
