As a hatchling, Samira grew up listening to the Kratt Brothers radio show, hosted by the two zoologist Mirror brothers travelling around Sornieth to educate listeners on various animals and beastclan. The Wildclaw would amass years of bruises and scratches getting close with her home clan's familiars, and learned overtime how to care for many species. As an adult, she has found a home in the Pox Consulate, where the lush overgrowth devouring the waning Plague land is rife with new creatures for studying.
She befriended her darling Amphitere, Noodle, on an expedition to the Windswept Plateau many years ago. Following biological fieldbooks along with her own research notes, she had only intended to capture sketches of the notorious serpents as they underwent their annual migration to the Viridian Labyrinth. Incidentally, she stumbled upon a stray migrant, who she startled from a rest. He sharply bit her then collapsed from the exertion. Samira merely blinked. She took pity on the ridiculous dramatic, took him home, and nursed him back to health. For some reason, even after recovery, he decided to remain by her side. Today, Samira studies and tends to the creatures of the Viridian Labyrinth alongside her cranky companion.
She is dear mates with Nox, who never fails to make her smile, especially when she stresses herself in circles tending to her veterinary den/clinic. Samira appreciates his wacky nature, and how he doesn't mind her disheveled appearance--rustling through undergrowth and tending to critters all day is hardly the tidiest job. Nox could not care less about any of that. He loves her for her big heart and relentless passion, and remains close by her side through it all.
