Pandora

One of the greatest warriors Gypsum Tower ever had the pleasure of housing. She was the mentor of some of today’s greatest warriors, including Gareth and Adranos’s dearly departed mentor, Innamic. There are very few stories involving the Gypsum Clan’s founding that don’t involve the infamous figure of Pandora. It was said that her charge was the clan founder, Endellus; any clan members old enough to remember the founding of Gypsum Tower would recollect her as a broad and looming shadow, ever-watchful of their leader’s back.

“She was garbed in ebony and crimson armor like hardened blood. Her eyes were brilliant blazing rubies and her hair, a short raven-feather black. She stood tall like a proud Valkyrie, broad like a warring giantess, and ever at the ready. She was a blessing to our clan and perhaps its greatest warrior forevermore.” (Gabriel’s Recollectives, Vol. 1).

It is Gareth, perhaps, who remembers her most fondly; as he was the last apprentice she fostered before her untimely death. Gareth looked up to Pandora as much more than just a mentor - she was his role model and played an older sister role in his early years.

There is a festival once a year that fosters a tournament for apprentices to show off their skills. It takes place on her birthday, and the apprentice who wins is said to get her blessing.
