While the interrogators didn't get much explanation about Tanzets origins other than his work as a gem miner, he helpfully answered most of the questions he was asked and it was easily determined that the coatl meant no harm to the clan. He infact asked the leaders if he could become a permanent member of the clan, believing that it would be good to have a real home to return to after mining expeditions. Mining and digging have been Tanzets life purpose ever since he could remember himself. As far as he is concerned, the earths soil is his home and he can spend weeks without needing to go above ground. As a result of living underground and digging for a large amount of his life, he has developed very strong claws and an advanced sence of smell, specialised in snigging out edible gemstones. » The negative effects of avoiding other dragons for so long are Tanzets lack of proper social skills. While he is quite likeable in general due to his goofy mannerisms and peaceful nature, the coatl tends to be very aloof and fails to understand social cues that are obvious to most dragons. Having these traits doesn't bother the enthusiastic miner much and he's perfectly fine with his gems and digging holes, although having Lifeblood clan as his permanent home has slowly peaked Tanzets interest in making friends. » It does make you wonder, what is it that made Tanzet retreat into the earth, away from others? |
