"Remember to take care of yourself or I'll find you and forcibly put you in hospital."

As the daughter of a surgeon and a frontline guard, Kix had been taught the importance of safety from a young age. From something as simple as a splinter to more serious injuries, Kix knows how to fix them all. She fixated on the more unseen illnesses, however, fascinated with the idea of helping dragons across Sornieth understand their own minds better. From post-traumatic stress to headaches to schizophrenia, Kix wanted to cure them all one leaping step at a time.

She is understood more by her mother than her father. The importance of health and safety is something both Ridgebacks strive for. So when Kix sat both her parents down for an intense discussion about ailments of the mind, focused mainly on migraines, in particular, Surgeon wasn't as surprised as Lazarus. Both were quite supportive of Kix's new calling; Lazarus joking that Kix was a Guardian in disguise and had finally found her Charge.

Kix now travels Sornieth as a traveling counselor, selling her hand-crafted medicines to needy dragons everywhere. She may seem brusque and pushy about the remedies, often shoving them into paws and growling at clans to "utilize them", but Kix means no harm. All her remedies work and refills or appointments are in high demand. She often stays in a clan for two weeks, talking to the resident healers on how to best care for their patients once Kix herself is gone and oftentimes leaving her recipes so that they can make the specialized medicines.
