━ really old silver market lore
DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD |
The Burrow Market is one that the common people aren't too aware of. Almost a direct parallel to the Maroon Harbor, the Burrow Market sits inside the cliff face of the ravine between the Scarred Wasteland and Dragonhome. While not exactly hidden, this place once gave Phrauge its horrible reputation, and it's something that many officials are trying to keep downlow. But, the promise of money can be just too tempting for some.

The Silver Market is the main attraction. After taking a quite steep and dangerous slope down the side of the Scarred Wasteland, you'll be greeted by a vast cave that hosts buildings of all sorts. From broken down homes to casinos crammed into the walls, you can find just about anything, especially as you travel through the market stalls. The legality of it all is shaky. Dragons and Beastfolk alike from all over Sornieth set up in this pit, and there's no clear restrictions on what can be sold. Infamous Guilds also run their way through here, as no typical regulations have been made known. Feir, the previous leader of Phrauge, has recently descended to take over the Silver Market. His presence isn't exactly welcome, and he has a good deal of Guilds to fight against, but very slowly this market is being pivoted in . . . some direction. Whether it's good or bad is up to whoever you ask. |

Lepisma is a very well hidden, minor clan set up beyond the walls of the Silver Market. They are nestled quite deep into the cave systems, and speak a language that isn't known among other modern species. They've been recently discovered by Feir after he went a little too far into the tunnels, and were pretty alarmed to see a dragon unlike their own. Feir currently studies this group of individuals. While Obelisks are plentiful among Sornieth now with their rather haunting message, these Obelisks aren't quite the same. And he can't figure out why. Alongside his work in the Silver Market, Feir is finding out just about anything he can about these individuals and reporting to Bawkrya what he finds. |

The Lucilia is a group of dragons completely undercover underneath the surface of Phrauge. Scholars, Journalists, and any other sort of curious individual fills this group as they study everything they set their eyes on. They claim to have found horrors they cannot describe, and systems of tunnels that lead all around Sornieth-- but because of how unrealistic their discoveries may seem to others, they have yet to fully publish any articles directly. The Lucilia have connections to dragons above the surface, which is how they manage to get their supplies and other necessary resources, along with slowly introducing the idea that something is going on under the surface. Their main goal is to protect the Scarred Wasteland, but some may value the horrific knowledge more than what's above them. |
