evil little (read: actually quite large) antagonist of my funny (read: not very funny) little worm story. IG like all the others they needed a fandragon i Guess
bio is like 3% complete im still working out their vibes. not canon to my FR lore lol just my headworld
born as the monarch of the Mazuu colony and ended up growing into a once-in-a-millennia, extremely powerful dopamine machine. also a sun god, but that's just cosmetic. getting kind of old (250ish years young) and, frankly, bored of having such an easy, diplomatic life. they're loved by many just for existing, they created the largest and most successful colony in modern history, and life really is quite good for them, but playing nice is exhausting!!!
over the years, they begin to test an interesting little quirk of their biology - a quirk that only works on humans, which are integrating into worm society by droves. all worms signal to each other with a complex system of pheromones, typically harmless and completely undetectable by humans... except theirs, which by pure chance, mimics a funny little molecule called dopamine. [insert organic chemistry worldbuilding here. it exists. i didn’t suffer through years and years of chemistry for nothing] TL;DR, they are a little too effective at what is essentially biological mind control.
went a little power crazy with that info. really started leaning into that sun god thing. they're not opposed to biological warfare or assassination or really any war crimes, honestly, so mind control was a pretty sweet choice. they caused the first interplanetary war ever and they're a little proud of that. you'll see them and blink and then suddenly you're 5 years older and in a room you don't recognize and everyone at home thinks you're dead and oh my god how did I get here. (honestly, you're lucky if you ever DO wake up, because humans are quite numerous, and therefore quite disposable... especially when building megastructures around the extremely hot, radioactive, "you have 5 minutes to complete a spacewalk before you fry in your suit" sun.)
they think the Quhxidi solar system is pretty good, of course. they helped colonize most of the habitable planets and they built/own most of the infrastructure to travel between them. but Sol's (wastefully untouched!) solar system looks even better... and has a couple billion more pawns they can use.
(all they have to do is get there, but it's humans who have wormhole technology, NOT worms. haha)
