Hydrer

A dragon who dreams of exploring unknown lands beyond the ocean. He was immediately intrigued by Aquarier's arrival and her tales of another worlds, and they formed a close bond since then. They often leave home for long expeditions, seeking to chart new territory, and indeed, their maps do contain the odd island or two that can't be found anywhere else.

As he adopted many of Aquarier's mannerisms and speeches on divination by water, it's not unusual for others to mistake him for a water dragon at times, and rumors even say that his magic has changed elements as well. "Isn't it an odd fluke, my dear," Aquarier said once, "that the wind has claimed you for once? A mere world away, you're the giant ocean serpent all fear and respect, and with the ocean you stay even as it is engulfed by the darkness beyond. It seems that fate always keeps the ocean locked to us, and yet we keep hearing its call. What is it that bind us to it after all? I'm dying to know, so I won't ever stop searching!" And Hydrer's eyes are alight by the passion in hers. He too will never stop searching by her side.
