Azusa and her former mate, Azeon, had always raised their hatchlings to be warriors. Deep down, she too held the heart of warrior for some time, but that ceased when an event saw her and Azeon part ways, one which she has yet to reveal the reason behind.

Now, she finds herself surrounded by a clan of rambunctious yet well meaning dragons with few drawn to the call of battle. As much as this displeases her, having a roof over her scales outweighs the need to be surrounded by fighters. She was quick to befriend the limited warriors in the clan - a spiral named Cloud, a mirror named Misty, a bogsneak called Mira, and a wildclaw named Vladimir. Having discovered a secret fifth warrior named Sludge, Azusa has taken it upon herself to train some of these reluctant battlers and help further their combat abilities.

Azusa is overly capable to the point that she typically rejects familiars. However, she did manage to befriend one such critter. Sort of. Her familiar, a Boran Alpha named Krunch, can be called upon when necessary. Otherwise, he lumbers around the clan homes, and typically scavenges any leftover food from the other clanmates. When needed, he provides an additional set of claws in battle.

More recently, she has apparently attracted the eyes of the local ice cream dragon, of all things. Rime enjoys her company, and Azusa appears to revel in his compliments. He might not be Azeon, but Azusa seems willing to take a chance with this softie. It may help that these two were, for a long time the only banescales in the lair. Or maybe, just maybe, the two are very compatible.
