Angel is elegance incarnate- she's beautiful and kind. She is also, however, extremely clumsy. Clumsy as in knocking over armor in the lair. Or tripping falling into the piles of treasure. Angel tries really hard, but in the end she sort of...causes a lot of disarray. She's always forgiven, of course (despite Neon's intense dislike towards her for causing messes). Angel is not completely helpless, and she has a tendency to notice smaller things rather than larger things- this makes her very suited to finding insects, although she may not notice a large rock in her way in the process. Angel's tendency to ignore the obvious and find the smaller things often baffles her fellow Clan members, but they have plenty of dragons to notice the obvious for her. For this reason, Angel remains quite useful for the Clan, and she is considered to be the "best" insect finder...although she's not the best at other things.

Angel was treated as a regal beauty in a Clan far away from the Azeryx Clan, a beautiful place in the Lightweaver's lands. She was the daughter of two heads of Clans and she was treated with great respect. Notably, Angel was kind to all dragons in her vicinity, even those who were lower than her. She was often taken along with diplomats, her innocence and graceful nature being used to make peace rather than war. Angel was regarded as a token of good fortune, and she was always ready to look out for her other Clanmates. She was also generous, offering places to dragons in need within her father's Clan. Since the dragons she accepted often turned into fine hunters and fighters, her parents approved and almost never questioned her- Angel had demonstrated good judgment.

Eventually, it was time for her to find a mate. Strangely enough, Angel actually looked towards the dragons she had invited into the Clans. One dragon in particular caught her interest- Thaw. He was a young, quiet Skydancer who was incredibly polite and almost awkwardly formal- she had found him wounded on a side of the road and invited him to her Clan. Thaw was always willing to talk with Angel and obeyed almost her every whim, treating her like a princess, but...Angel always had a fondness for him. Thaw at first rejected her advances, claiming he was unworthy, but the two grew closer and eventually became mates. The two had hatchlings and lived a happy life together...until things took a horrifying turn for the worst. One night, Thaw murdered her father.

Angel was devastated and shocked- why? Why had Thaw done this? Why had her mate murdered her father. Thaw explained the entire thing with no emotion in his voice- he had been tasked with killing her father a long time ago by his organization. He figured the easiest way to get close and do the job was by joining her Clan and befriending her. All of his feelings and kind words were lies to get closer to his duty. Thaw would've killed Angel too, for becoming witness to his crime, but her mother intervened. Thaw was chased out, but managed to escape with his life.

Angel felt horrible guilt for what had happened. Despite her mother and family assuring her it was not her fault, she was stricken with many sleepless nights, and nightmares of Thaw would haunt her slumber. Her movements became more jumpy and clumsy, often causing messes without realizing. Eventually, the guilt was too much to bear- she could not bear to look her family in the eye, and just seeing her hatchling would make her cry. Angel left her Clan, saying that while she loved them and would never forget them, she had to leave. Wandering on her own for ages, she managed to survive on insect and plants.

In the Icefield, she found solace and was far enough away that her family did not seek her. She would catch bugs and rest quietly in the cold lands. One day, a patrol of dragon happened upon her catching bugs skillfully. They asked her where she learned to do that, while Angel responded that she was simply good at it. The dragons asked if she was willing to demonstrate her tricks to their Clan, to help them better survive. Angel decided that it couldn't hurt, and went to the Azeryx Clan.

They provided her with kindness and shelter, but everyone treated her as normal- far different than her usual lifestyle. But Angel grew to love it- she enjoyed being a nobody in this Clan, having no title or role to live up to. While she would never be a fighter, she was content hunting for bugs and peacefully living in the Icefield. She stayed with the Clan, and has had no regrets.

When Shredder's group of rogue dragons posed a threat to the Clan, Angel grew worried when hearing rumors of a dark Skydancer in his ranks. She was relieved to find out it was merely Veil, a gray Skydancer with a bad temper. But then she was horrified to learn that there was another dragon, a Skydancer named Thaw. Angel was very frightened during the time, wondering if Thaw had chased her down to kill her, but apparently the Skydancer had other plans. She worked with Conda, giving him explanations on Thaw's weaknesses to help him in the battle. While she did not fight in the Bringer War, she helped the Clan recover in the aftermath.

On the other hand, another dragon has made themselves known in their territory- a dragon who looks similar to Thaw, but claims to be Angel's son. This revelation has caused Angel great stress, and she has no idea what's going on.

She is friendly to most and is Melody's pride and joy. She also gets along with Swipe, Ash, and Sprocket. Neon dislikes her, while Diamond has quietly commented that clumsiness was a liability. Angel has a relationship with Ash that is riddled with awkwardness, due to Ash's own lack of romantic experience and Angel's deep trust issues. It is hinted that both dragons desire more, but her experience with Thaw has made her very wary of mating in the future. Despite this, she has admitted she loves Ash and wants to be with him.
