Sigyn is working through conditioning from others who had her convinced that her only value lay in her appearance. She was to be a perfect sacrifice, but she broke free and chose to live.

Deep in the darkest part of the nature domain, there is a lair of dragons who believe in sending regular sacrifices to their gods. Not just the old, infirm, or damaged... but specially bred victims to ensure the love of the Gladekeeper and blessings on their lives.

Sigyn had been such a one. Hatched to know she was to die, she was raised being pumped full of the idea that hers was a glorious destiny. While she watched others becoming so much more, Sigyn only had death and - according to her teachers - glory to look forward to after a short life.

Where the spark of rebellion came from, she was never sure. But one night, looking at the moon, the skydancer could no longer meekly accept the fate chosen for her. Frightened, exhilarated, and nervous all at the same time, Sigyn set out under the light of the moon to find a new destiny.

Her new lair makes Sigyn feel like anything is possible. While she may not know what the future holds for her anymore... at least she has one. And she can make it what she wants, not what someone else dictated.
