xxxxxWhile other Pagfenx residents may have been skeptical about the power of The Eleven, Kaine was the exact opposite. She was born into a clan that worshiped the Flamecaller. This would be, for the most part, a normal clan if it weren't for the bizarre and often bloody rituals that took place. The clan frequently sent out other dragons to spread the word of the greatness of the Flamecaller. Kaine happened to be one of these holy figures.

xxxxxKaine had traveled all across Sornieth, attempting to spread the fiery gospel. This, for the most part, would not go well for her. Clans that did agree to listen were repulsed by the rituals she requested to perform, often on other clan members. Every time clans refused to listen to her gospel or kicked her out for her odd rituals, she would wish for the Flamecaller's wrath to melt the clan into nothing but molten rock and ash before kicking dust in the ma/patriarch's face and running off with her holy artifacts.

xxxxxKaine had nearly given up on her duty. She deemed the clans outside the Ashfall Waste heretics that would soon feel Her wrath. She returned to the waste and began to search for some smaller clans surrounding The Great Furnace, hoping that others would preach the gospel the same way she did. She had stumbled upon the Pagfenx on accident and was allowed to stay without hesitation as other clan members had been in the past. She was later appointed to be part of the surface guard. While she couldn't perform her rituals on dragons, she decided nearby wildlife was the next best thing.
