Colu

Colu was found by the clan as a hatchling. She was full of fear and anxiety from being on her own, and only gradually opened up to a select few. Now that she has gotten bigger, she is less frightened, though still very gentle and timid, and a little more easily spooked than most. Colu is highly valued by the elder members of the clan, however, who all took part in raising her. Colu is very grateful to them for providing her a real home. She regards Tiyaris and Crabclaw as her closest friends, as she grew up with them, almost like siblings.

Colu is very excitable, and though her nervous nature can make her flip from enthusiasm to anxiety fairly quickly, she is generally happy and stable. She loves to dance and fly, and has a lovely singing voice, making up little songs about the Dragonhome myths that Pineseed tells her, that can often be heard echoing pleasantly in the cave walls of the lair. She also loves to dress up, seeking out scraps of cloth and trinkets in the Shattered Plain and mending them into pretty robes and jewelry. If any of the other dragons need something to wear, they come to Colu.

Colu is a romantic, but she's had her heart broken many times in the past. Her greatest treasure in life is her son Riodem, who she raised by herself after his wild father left the clan. She dotes on him constantly, and the two are very close. At first it was just the two of them, but then Colu met Marble, an older dragon who has become a permanent partner. Riodem feels a bit threatened by this, but Colu knows he'll get over it eventually.
