Oppenheimer

Oppenheimer is very much like his brother Pijja and his father Ruscello. He helps Ruscello out at that unofficial healer-doctor school at the center of the Zephyr Steppes, and helps heal hatclings and dragons left and right.
He is slightly more outgoing than Pijja, and is often times even known to be charismatic. Oppenheimer is often times mistaken for the older (or, oldest) sibling partially because of this and just because he, for some reason presents himself and looks physically more mature.

He had an accidental brood with Lasciel, which the clan was at first shocked by but quickly became accepting. He didn't think he was ready to be a father, so he stayed out of his children's lives. Although they are not mates, him and Lasciel both mourned when their youngest son starved unnamed.
Later though, the guilt caught up to Oppenheimer about not being in their lives and he attempted to become a father figure in the very least. Smithy resented him at first, because the lack of a father in his life had caused him to be depressed. But, Smithy and Sweetmist allowed Oppenhiemer to attempt. Unfortunately his involvement with them was patchy, and he only spent time with them occasionally. He's just not really made to be a father. So, his involvement remains patchy, even though he kind of got through to Smithy. Sweetmist was a bit hesitant with him too, but she tried her best to accept him and to help Smithy to do that too.
So, Oppenheimer continues to be a part-time dad and part-time doctor.
