Shiv

Name meaning: A shiv is a knife or razor used as a weapon.

ROLE: Battle Chef, Falconer. ORDER: Seeker. MATE: N/A FAMILIAR: ? NOTABLE RELATIVES: Blag (adoptive father), Gasira (adoptive mother) Note: Named for Shiv Zaya because I fell in love. Eventually, I will need to have a Simon, Weiz (pearlcatcher), and Quetzel (fae) to pay tribute to my faves. Writing about her arrival by Solarfox123.

A small leaf boat washes up on the shore of the clan, the hatchling inside unaware of the political turmoil brewing between the pirates of the clan and the Glade. She's holding a stuffed fox as pink as she is, and seems to be quite happy to have reached the lair. A note is carefully attached to the fox. "Finnd. Send goud homme."

The Gaolers of Haven congregate around this pink child and welcome her into their society. Later, Gasira sends a crudely-written note back to the Glade that reads "It is done. Thank." She is trying her best.


She was supposed to be sent with only 1 plushie, but.... accidentally 56.

Shiv was born in the Beacon of the Radiant Eye, then traveled to The Behemoth before making the journey to the Zephyr Steppes. Although Sentry, Keeper, or Overseer is more her style, the Seeker Order allows her to make meals out of the monsters she can track down in the world, which she does thoroughly enjoy doing. Tough as nails, she lives for the hunt and swallows poison for breakfast.



Note: She made this journey after Gobi had his nightmare and the Glade had steadily been relocating everyone to a new location in The Behemoth, so I imagine that is where she went and because the Glade was in a dire situation at that point they sent her to Haven for her safety.
