Dragon Info; A Tale of Transformation
"I see... A male you will love... Upon your horizon..." Starlight whispered, gazing deep into her magical pearl. "He will mean everything to you... It will only last five years... And he will pass on..." She gasped, looking up.
She looked at the Snapper female across from her with pity in her eyes.
"I am so sorry." She said softly.
The snapper said nothing and began to cry.
Without a word she stood and ran off, shaking the ground with her sobs.
"Poor dear." Starlight sighed, stepping outside into the night air.
Looking up she smiled. No matter what, the sparkling stars always made her so happy.
The sky like sapphire velvet, adorned with millions of tiny diamonds, was the most beautiful thing the Pearl Catcher had ever seen. The ones above, as she called them, had blessed her with so much. This was a magnificent place underneath a magical sky...
Suddenly, Starlight's entire body went stiff, her heart hammered within her rib cage, breath coming in short gasps....
The vision opened her mind like a book, and her vision cleared...
She was in a dark room, she could see nothing, the air moist and hot... She needed to escape... Get out out out!
She began to wriggle frantically, banging her head on the walls of the room. It began to give, to break, a sliver of light creeping through the darkness.
So close... so close....
With a final thrash, she was out. Her body was wet with some clear liquid, and as the fresh air touched upon her she was suddenly freezing as she realized that it hadn't been a room at all.
That was an egg.
Her arms were covered in long fur... Her face round... She was a Tundra.
Suddenly there was a burst of light and she was in the air, body swimming in shadowy mystical powers... It was cold and warm at the same time and slowly her fur began to melt away... Turning into scales, her body shrinking, becoming lean and thin.
The crackling of bones and fangs were everywhere, and suddenly it all stopped. She was upon the ground surrounded by nothing but silence, and her frame curled over a small silvery pearl.... Her body totally different than before...
Starlight's eyes snapped open as she awoke from her vision with a gasp.
She was born... A Tundra?
