- very tall, taller than the average obelisk. nobility absolutely loathes this, and refuses to look up at him when vin speaks to him
- also has very poor vision! cannot see without his glasses, nobility teases him for it relentlessly
- has a little burn scar on the tip of his nose, from trying out a lotion that ended up burning him
- cannot stand cats. he is not a fan of nobility's cat, mr. meow
- is not a fan of the cold weather of nobility's kingdom, prefers more sunny/warm weather as he was born in the light kingdom

Eli is almost the polar opposite of his sister, Asa; without exaggerating, those who know them have often joked about both Skydancers having a list of their opposing aesthetics and preferences written down so as to not do something "out of character". This, of course, is merely a rumor with no truth to it- but the fact remains that Eli has always been rather distinguishable from his sister in everything they do.
While his sister is cold and rather bitey, Eli has a much more charismatic disposition, albeit still rater reserved; he finds that getting along with others is no issue, and he doesn't need to put much effort into it. Eli is also rather fond of the finer things in life despite not bragging about it, nor flaunting it at every chance he gets (though he's not quite modest about it, either, and will brag on the down-low if given the chance). He's particularly fond of anything golden, and dons apparel made from different types of pure gold just because it makes him feel a certain pleasant way. You can easily picture him enjoying an expensive wine while savoring seasonal fruits, draped in golden silks on a summer afternoon.
Eli has always found ways to calm his sister down when things went awry, too- from redirecting her attention to less aggravating matters, to simply calming her down to a more reasonable level when she gets fired up over an issue regarding her experiments. The green-hues on his wings are said to aid in this odd calming ability- though this, as many other things, is just a rumor. There's no way that the slippery substance covering his plumage can actually affect one's emotional state... Right?
