Overview
Eliwen can be found as a near permanent resident of the Solstice Tavern, the favorite watering hole for Mercenaries. Brash, hot-headed and Likely to be heard before being seen, the swordsman is usually found singing and toasting merrily while boasting about his sword skills.

History
Claiming to be the greatest swordsmen, Eliwen left his little village of Stormfall to pursue adventure, glory, and a home for his sword skills. Faced against the harsh world and needing money he would resort the odd job or two before finally taking mercenary work as a sell sword, a notion he always insisted was beneath him. Rationalizing that this would be a chance to defend the weak and find stronger opponents to face, but he would find come to find himself on the other end of mercenary work attacking the weak and defending powerful bosses. This attracted the attention of rival factions and organizations who sent other mercenaries to handle him.

On one merchant raid, he was ambushed by the forces of a heavily armed Merchant. There he fought another weaker mercenary, the poet Virgil who used any tactic, from weapons, magic, and claw to claw against the swordsman who used nothing but his blade. Eliwen and his band were routed but not before calling Vigil a dishonest fighter for his underhanded tactics. Virgil would retort that it was not him who was attacking civilian merchants.

These words would ring in Eliwen's mind as he realized he no longer recognized himself as the aspiring adventurer who left Stormfall to find a place to pledge his sword to. Deciding to start from scratch he dropped the mercenary work, and refocused his efforts. He would move on, or rather when he tried to leave the gang his former employers hired out every available Merc to stop him. Better to have him dead than working for the enemy.

Reveling in the fight of his life. He took down hoards of henchmen after 18 hours of nonstop fighting. This earned him the nickname "the blue demon" in reference to his blue armor and grand blue wings.

Tired and wounded from this fight he would almost be done in by the headhunter Faolan when Eliwen made the mistake of letting his guard down in the outskirts of town. During this skirmish Eliwen would learn to use his long dormant elemental lighting powers to escape. This desperation wins him the battle but Faolan's parting goodbye was to rip Eliwen's wings out.

Eliwen was found in an alley three towns away. The rouge Plague medics who found him were able to reconstruct his wings by transplanting the wings of another recently deceased donor dragon. However he was only able to acquire movement in one wing, miraculously he is still able to fly. He stuck around with the eccentric lot for some time to before parting ways.
