Sweetpuff and Ragepuff are actually of the same species. Couples typically consist of one of each disposition; one doting parent, and one ball of protective fury!

"I could do work, you know." He said as she attached the veil, just below his eyestone, and clipped the trailing ends behind his aft horns. "I could be useful."

"You do not have to." She replied, trailing the pointed tip of her tongue over the skin magic of his throat, lovingly caressing the ridges of filigree twist that intertwined with the pattern. He shuddered, and felt a now-familiar warmth start up the insides of his thighs.

She settled the beads of his shawl and rubbed the back of her paw firmly against his sternum.

The warmth spread at her touch, pulsing in time with his heartbeat.

"I- i-" He began, swallowed the moistness down from his mouth and tried to keep from squirming as he firmly pressed his bottom into the cool grass. To not look so obvious as he curled his tail in a bit tighter. "I should be the one to garb you," He said, sitting up straighter, trying to adopt the formal tones of a proper male. "My duty is to guard and protect you."

"Your duty." She said, with a delighted laugh, her frills flopped to the side in relaxed comfort. She sat up suddenly and pulled his head down into her chest, her scent made him moan despite himself, as he breathed her in deep. He folded his legs in down to lie on his belly before her, wishing he sat in snow instead of grass, which was not doing the job at all. Daringly, he flicked his tongue out and licked a bare spot on her belly, her hide was butter soft and tasted of salt-water and sunlight. He ached to be able to do more.

"Your duty," She repeated, her main eyes were crinkled around their edges as she smiled truly, "Is to let me make you look beautiful."

She reached down and yanked his gilded head up, cupping his narrow cheeks between her paws., nose to nose, they shared a puff of breath, "And for you to let me do so." she said, flicked her tongue against his mouth in invitation. He parted his beak to protest, but soon forgot what argument he'd intended to make, as he delighted instead as they tasted each other.
