Calamity

Calamity's healing strength is rooted in a strong, fearless connection with darkness, disease, and suffering. While always polite, he keeps his distance from most other dragons, rarely involving himself in their day to day lives and preferring to ponder alone. He does, however, feel and enact a fierce, unyielding loyalty to the clan and would drop anything to defend even the most distant member - be it through vicious attacks on the enemy, or devoted medical assistance.

Calamity and Onaka barely get in each other's claws. Onaka treats with natural remedies that work on or within the body; Calamity is the one who cuts dragons open when needed. He's also the clan's battle medic, whereas Onaka stays at the lair year round.

Calamity's inexplicable connection with the marbled jester intrigues several clan members. The two make an eerie pair when they sit together, although the jester is often nowhere to be seen for weeks on end. Yet the two have been almost lifelong companions, and Calamity is likely the only soul alive whom the jester won't betray ...
