>”Hey! Sweetie, get away from that!” Dulcie felt panic run through her veins, one of her first young memories. This was a sweet memory though, the lumbering Nocturne gently pulling her away from the garden. But wow, did it smell good, sweet jasmine and lavender contrasting the murky aroma Foxfire Grove. He was a friendly lad, explaining what the flowers were for. It was a garden for that family’s teas, a dying hobby. He was even nice enough to offer Dulcie a cup, The tea warming her to the core. Finishing the last sip, Dulcie scurried back to her home.

>”Sire, it’s me, wow, uh, I’m not sure if you remember me but..” Years later, Dulcie found her self back at that house, and it wasn’t the same. The flowers were still there, sure, but the leaves and stems were flopping and tangled. She feared for losing the art, the couple running the business now old and weary.

>”Oh no, no, not like that, the family secret is this, actually.” Dulcie watched as the Nocturne crushed up the petals, pouring it into the swirling tea. He nudged the bowl towards her, signaling to stir. Blending the mixture, the older dragon, her father, almost, explained the process. The tea would steep for many days, then be strained, making one of the most delicious brews in Sornieth.

>”Dulcie.. you know I’m getting old. I want you to own the shop.” The Skydancer’s heart swelled with pride and excitement. She closed the locket encapsulating the key, tying it around her neck. She wrapped her arms around the nocturne, plans about the tea shop blooming in her head. Hugging the Nocturne, she decided to take the tea shop to its best form.

>”Sweetheart, I’ve got this letter for you..” The anxiety in his voice filled Dulcie’s stomach with dread. Reading it over, she couldn’t believe the request. A clan in wind- the Oasis Monastery was asking the shop to move locations, all the way to the Windswept Plateau. It was a great payment though, even better adventure. But leaving the Foxfire Grove, leaving her home? It was a tough decision, but her answer was final. The shop was finding a new home.

>”The Oasis Monastery? You’re already here, if you have letter, its from the one in the navy-blue balloon.” She looked back at the snapper, then at the top of the balloons. It was far, and the pack on her back wasn’t getting any lighter. No matter, she was almost there. On her way to the top of the balloon, a fae flew by her- no, more than a fae. A fae with a bunch of glowing hands, who was staring at her.. was it the way she smelled? The scent of tea usually makes people happy, but this fae seemed more interested than usual customers.

>”Hello, I’m Otieno, you can leave your things here, Aurelia will set you up with a balloon, welcome to the Oasis Monastery.” The Ridgeback was nice enough to her WORDS HARD WORDS HARD LORE OUTDATED AAGH
