Biography
Eternal, exponential progress is impossible. But what would you do if you could get as close as you could?
This hulking Ridgeback stays in her closed, confined workshop, working all day and all night, every day, to achieve some hidden goal. She is a talented shaper of metal and Lightning magic - she has a natural affinity to the work, and even if she didn’t, her hours and hours of practice would still make her a masterful craftsman. She is the chief weapons engineer of her clan, but even still she hardly does anything other than to slave away at her machines. Bray hardly ever leaves, and thus those that never enter her domain will likely never see her.
She has made weapons of destruction and life - technology that can raze the Beastclan surrounding the territory to the ground and then make their corpses shamble to life through careful application of Lightning magic. It is a spit in the face of the natural order, and the Plague clans surrounding the Stormcatcher’s domain are all the more furious for it; they shake in fury at the sight of natural death being disrespected and to see a mere imitation of life. Bray hardly cares for the opinions of these enemies; the warriors wielding her weapons can easily repel them.
She has not gotten this technology to work on dragons - yet. But her curioers have been seen dashing madly about, to and fro, slowly delivering the cut-up remains of different corpses. She continues to work - work until her talons are cut and her blood lubricates the machines that are her God, until her flesh fingers cannot take the duress of fine work anymore and must be supplemented through other means.
