a last ditch effort at holding onto power…
Sun’s Shadow, the last guardian of a crumbling, decadent Light lair. She has been here hundreds of years before any mortal dragon - it is rumored that the only thing keeping her breathing is that heavy set of armor that she wears at all times. Her lair was near the site of Luminax’s rampage, and has since been sieged by Emperors that have clawed their way back from under the dirt. The lair was always meant to be an outpost for battle; in typical Light fashion, a brilliant hub of information and commerce next to a demonstration of the Light Flight’s strength. But it will never be at the same peak as it used to.
Either way, Sun’s Shadow will still continue to keep on holding onto power.

C H I L D H O O D
Sun Shadow was a Light Ambassador. Created by the Lightweaver herself, Sun Shadow was created to lead clans and bring the knowledge of Light to the barbarian lands. She was created as a lowly, basic Guardian with no other purpose than to server her Lightweaver. Sun Shadow had no charge, but "they", the higher ups, told her that she would understand soon. Lowly Guardians were not meant to have a charge, at her stage in life. The Lightweaver would bless her soon. Sun Shadow was soon subjected to her first major test: Could she lead her own clan in the Sunbeam Ruins? She was paired up to another lowly Guardian to help her. They managed to find a few dragons, from small hatchlings to large, old, Imperials. It worked well enough, and the two lowly Guardians, after a few more tests, were allowed to venture into the barbaric Tangled Woods. |
A D U L T H O O D
As soon as Sun Shadow and her tiny clan stepped into the Tangled Woods, she felt an immense pull torwards it. Deeper, deeper, into the pulsing forest. Deeper, deeper, into the eternal night of the woods... They set up camp in a small valley, and wondered what to do next. Dragons soon started to leave, and more replaced them. Well, a lot of things happened after that. Dragons continued to stream in and out at a steady rate, but only a few stayed for more than two weeks. Sun Shadow worried what was going wrong, what was happening if dragons felt that they needed to leave after such a short time. Sun Shadow never found out what was the case, but she found that helping her clanmates more seemed to help, if only for a short while. This went on for about a year, and by then only a few loyal dragons stayed at her side.Sun Shadow decided that perhaps leaving their camp would be a good idea, and so they left, moving to another location, a small gorge that could fit the clan and many more. This worked only a bit more. Dragons still left. So Sun Shadow decided, as a last resort, she would go talk to them. They suggested giving them more responsibilities, and a higher quality of necessary items and luxuries. She put these rules into place, and gave them tighter roles, and some of them the possibility to sell their services. Slowly but surely, the new clan turned into a mercenary one, where most dragons sold their services or items, and even those who didn't went on quests to get an extra source of treasure. Sun's Shadows problem was finally over. Dragons stayed, and she could start going out into the mysterious Coliseum, where treasure, friends, and foes awaited.. The lowly Guardian had turned into a queenly Bogsneak, at last. Wait... did she forget something along the way? |
P E R S O N A L I T Y
Sun Shadow is a mysterious dragon, even to some of her own. She mostly spends her time in the Coliseum or working out trade negations, so some of the dragons who don't spend much time in the camp, save for when they have hatchlings. To be fair, Sun Shadow isn't that much of a strategic mind, or an observant one. Although she perhaps isn't the best leader, her clanmates trust her to protect them when they need her. Sun Shadow feels much more at home in the Tangled Woods than in the Sunbeam Ruins. Perhaps it was that Light dragons seemed too smug and stuffy for her, and Shadow dragons were carefree and relaxed. Either way, when she is out and about in the clan, you can trust her to try and help you, and make your experience in her clan a better one. |
