Moonkissed

It was an accident, really. One minute you were walking around and the next, you were nursing a rather nasty scratch on your arm from running into a dragon. They apologized before immediately ushering you down a corridor toward where you assumed a doctor would be. If not for the fact that the smell of fresh herbs and medicinal potions clung to the air, but for the Pearlcatcher that was bustling around inside, already helping another with their wounds.

She gave you a brief check, making sure you weren't in dire need before sending you to sit down and wait. It was warm, cozy, and oddly nice in the room even with the odd stuff lingering around. In fact... the more you looked around, the more you seemed to notice. Bloody rags sitting in a bucket of water to be washed, staches of what appeared to be... parts being dried, and you were doing your best to ignore the bones that had been somewhat ground down into a fine powder.

By the time she comes around to you, that feeling of ease has been replaced. The Pearlcatcher is nice. Brisk, but nice as she spreads a salve across the wound and wraps it. With that, you're sent on your merry way, a bundle of berries in hand. They taste fine but... well... you're wondering if it's just your imagination, or if the grinding started again as you leave.
