a sentinel, made in an age long past where a clan wanted no one to see their devious acts. a long-forgotten sentinel, who still protected that patch of land, even as the moss grew and covered her metal, making her rusty...

The Forgotten Automatons were built to serve, their elemental alignments based upon whatever alignment their creator was. However it came to be, they were left behind, and since they had no free will to break from their intended duties, they instead just froze up on the spot, not moving at all. Nature simply took it's course, growing over their metal with whatever was nearby. Slata is "claimed" to be the first to find a Forgotten Automaton, when he was just the first to not entirely scrap it for parts. This is how Flora came to be, and works with Slata on finding more Forgotten Automatons, waking them up from the low slumber to a new world.

Different eyetypes can mean anything- but the most important to note is Primal. If a Forgotten Automaton has Primal eyes, then that mean their creator gave their life to bring them to life- which means in that element they are much stronger, etc.
