▷ "About time, my friend! For a moment there, we feared we'd lost you!" As you open your bleary eyes, you make out the shape of a dragon in their masked shape. He's wearing what looks like a golden wreath, alongside a crimson coat and pants. On his shoulder a large bird is perched with many eyes and swirling mist-like feathers. It tilts its head at you, and the man gives it a scratch under the beak. "No worries about Ocula here, she's just my eyes on the sea. That being said, what brought you out to the sea in a storm?" You quickly explain that you were searching for a place to roost for the evening and got caught up in the Twisting Crescendo, before waking up here. He nods along with your explanation, before giving you a smile and nod. "I see, that sounds like a pretty awful time. I can't really take you out in the direction of the mainland while the Crescendo is meandering that way, but over on Caldera they have an inn you could hunker down at until the weather clears up. It's about a fifteen minute flight to the West, if you're up for it after you get something warm in you. I have some tea, if you would like." You thank him, taking the cup of tea and resting for a bit before the two of you head out.

"The winds should be manageable, but if you need to take things slow just give me a shout." He says, before taking his true shape and leaping up onto the take off dock and looking down at you. You give the wildclaw a nod, before joining him up on the platform. Before you take off though, you hesitate, thinking about how for all of his kindness this dragon has yet to introduce himself. "My name? Oh. I.. completely forgot about that! The name's Hallow, and its a pleasure to meet you." You nod at that, and the two of you take off into the sky.
