Despite her armor and jewels, she walks silently. Her head always bowed, her voice never heard, this odd wyrm always seems to be in mourning. Nobody’s seen beneath her helm, nobody’s seen her eat or even sleep. She simply seems to perpetually patrol the area around the Windswept’s caverns, ever so watchful. She means no harm to the clan, in fact seems to be a sort of protector to them. She always wanders the edge of the territory, and those who she deems a threat to them meet the other end of her blade. To ask someone why she does this is a fool’s errand. She simply does. You won’t get an answer from her, either- She doesn’t say anything. She does, however, listen. To those who take the time to speak to her, she listens intently. The helmet gives her an unsettling visage of cold neutrality, but her gaze is not scornful. To come to her with your troubles is to feel a weight lifted, for she will listen, and never tell.

She has dedicated herself to guarding the territory. Not even the Matriarch knows why, but Lydia will never tell. Some say an ancient curse, others say simple kindness, others say she is a supernatural eye sent to watch them. It wouldn’t be the weirdest thing to happen in the Arcane territory, but despite these many theories she is ever so secretive. Why is she silent? Why does she protect them? Where did she come from? Why such gloomy garb? Questions float about, but are never answered. She is not known for impatience, but those who ask too many questions like this often find her gaze becoming colder. She does not like when others try to ask so much of her. She will not tell their secrets; Why should they want hers?

None escape Lydia’s judgement. Though she will listen, those who tell her their dirty or evil secrets will find retribution coming to them. They will feel the weight lifted, but after their evil deed has been revealed, misfortune or sickness befalls them, at times even death. She does not hesitate to strike down the worst of the worst, those she deems a threat to the world or unrepentant. When the bells toll and the time comes, her voice will ring true; but for now, she will settle for bringing retribution and karma in smaller ways.
